I love it don't let the name fool you there's Pizza and other choices
I went home excited to have some boneless wings and baked ziti pizza and was even happier for free garlic knots. That is, until I opened containers. The garlic knots were decent, cold but not horrible and they were free so I couldn't complain anyways.
Great pizza! Great price!
While waiting I overheard staff conversing about the phone being off the hook for the last 3 hours and that why hadn't gotten my order. (They online ordering company is meant to call them to make sure it was received). They realized who the last guy on the phone was and confronted him. He was very rude and disrespectful. Saying he needed a 3hr break from pizza's. Then he sat and talked to what seemed to be his girlfriend. The owner (or at least manager on duty) confronted him again and the guy insisted that he had hung up the phone and that it wasn't his fault. This place needs to get its act together.
Needless to say, there are better pizza joints in the city. This one will not be getting my business again.
I will not make the effort to pay for old gross food.
When I arrived to pick up my pizza the person at the counter was busy talking on the phone with a very upset customer (I could hear him screaming at her through the phone). It sounded like he had ordered a pizza with extra cheese but only the extra cheese was fresh. I thought that it must have been some mistake or that the customer must just be picky.
I sat and waited inside. The interior is very run down. I decided to let the food speak for itself though.
There are so many other very excellent pizza places in Amsterdam.
If I could give a half star I would.
Not good food.
A while later they brought out my order.
Took over an hour and a half for my food to be delivered, and my calzone was kinda cold. Delivery guy had to call multiple times to ask the delivery address even though I gave it during the order and with each call, and sweating like a pig when he showed up. Ordered a soda, no soda came with my food.
Then I got my pizza home and it was as if I took 2 day old leftover pizza out of my fridge and threw some pepperoni on top.
I had been wanting to try them for a while. I wanted to see how they were compared to the many other great pizza places in the area.
The boneless wings were the topper though, they were chicken nuggets with some special house rub on them. If I wanted chicken nuggets I would have gone to Wal-Mart and gotten them.
The pizza didn't even look like it was cut, I had to take out my pizza cutter and slice it up. The toppings fell right off, I had to use a fork and knife and honestly, the pizza didn't even feel hot.
They are apparently into having old over cooked cheese pizzas around so that when an order comes in they can throw on some toppings and then over cook and dehydrate the pizza a little more before you get to eat it.
This place cannnot make the effort to create food worth presenting to a paying customer?
I placed an online order on Saturday at 3:53pm. I went in to pick it up around 4:30pm and they hadn't a clue what I was talking about. They then looked at their fax machine and realized my order was sitting there waiting to be filled. They apologized gave a few bucks off the order and threw in a free order of garlic knots.
